1. Baby-Only Focus: This session is exclusively for your baby—no family or sibling photos are included.
2. Wrapped and Outfitted: Your baby will be snugly wrapped or dressed in one of our adorable outfits. There are no fabric/naked baby poses in this session, ensuring your little one stays warm and cozy throughout.
3. Efficient and Relaxed: We have only an hour for the Quad City photography session. I focus on soothing your baby quickly. I also transition them through each setup. There isn’t as much time for extra soothing, so keeping your baby wrapped helps them feel secure and content.
4. Digital composite Image Not Included: While this session does not include a digital composite image, those can be purchased separately. They are also included in our higher packages, which offer more variety and flexibility.

What Does the Photography Session Include?

Our Newborn Only Petite Session features four beautiful poses to create a variety of timeless images:

1. Wrapped Basket Pose

Your baby will be wrapped snugly like a little potato and placed in a basket for a classic, adorable look. This is often the starting point of the session. This technique is especially useful for awake babies. The wrapping helps them relax and often lulls them to sleep. The wrap mimics the comforting feeling of being in the womb, ensuring your baby is calm and cozy. It’s also fun to change it up with backdrops, adding variety beyond the traditional wood floor for a unique photo.

2. Heart or Moon Prop Pose

For this pose, your baby will stay wrapped, but I reduce the wraps slightly to highlight their sweet little toes. Using props like a heart or moon, we create a whimsical and charming setup that showcases your baby’s tiny details. I often use the moon for boys and the heart for girls. However, these props are not gender-specific. So you can choose whichever you prefer. If the heart or moon isn’t your style, I also have round bowls available. This is also another prop that looks great with printed backdrops.

3. Bucket Pose

Next, we move to a bucket pose. I have several buckets to choose from, allowing for some personalization and variety in style. During this setup, I gently unwrap your baby’s arms. I reveal your little ones fingers while keeping the rest of their body snug and secure. This transition creates a relaxed and natural look, giving the images a mix of structure and softness. Often, the buckets are styled with coordinating wraps and layers to create a cohesive and polished look. At this point in the session, your baby is usually very calm and sleepy.

4. Bed Pose with Outfit

Your baby is posed in the final prop on a tiny bed. They are dressed in one of the adorable outfits from the client closet. This pose is always a showstopper! Your baby’s tiny leg dangles off the side and it just my favorite pose and melts my heart. It highlights your baby’s delicate size and charm. I have tons of outfits for your little to wear. This ensures we can match your personal preferences or nursery theme. The bed is styled with soft blankets and textures to add a warm and inviting feel to the images. This pose ends the session on a high note. Your baby looks cozy, stylish, and absolutely precious.
