Capturing your baby milestone pictures is a very important task. How quickly does time fly? It seems like only yesterday your little one was born and before you know it they are crawling, walking and talking! At Little Hauflings Photography, we offer baby’s first year milestone photo sessions at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12-month intervals in order to document your baby’s development. These photos will be cherished memories forever!

While we line out a suggested timeline, we like to keep these sessions on Baby’s schedule. Every baby grows and hits these milestones at a little bit of a different interval. If baby isn’t quite ready by our scheduled date we can always push it back a little!

Three Months | All About Those Precious Smiles

Your baby’s three-month milestone session is based all around those precious little smiles and giggles and tummy time! This is a great time to capture your baby’s personality and sweetness.  It’s such a joy to capture these moments! We always recommend choosing soft and comfortable clothing for your baby’s photo session. The LHP client closet has outfits ranging from newborn-12 month size in a variety of colors. You are welcome to use these on your baby during the session. This session is all about capturing your baby’s smile and emotions, so schedule this session when your child frequently smiles and giggles upon seeing you! Its co much fun capturing baby milestone pictures!

Six Months | Sitting Up All On Their Own

When baby is sitting up all on their own, it’s a perfect time to bring them in for an updated milestone session! You’ll see how quickly your sweet baby has grown in such a short time! Around six months they start becoming a little more independent and curious. Also, baby might even have enough hair to pull into little piggy tails or clip and maybe even a tooth or two to show off! We have a variety of cute sitter props and outfits available for your session!

Nine Months | Standing & Crawling – The Fun Begins

Baby on the move! The nine-month milestone session is all about capturing your baby as they start becoming a little explorer! This is an exciting time as baby starts to become more mobile. Be prepared for some crawling and cruising shots! They may even be standing with assistance and are definitely constantly on the go go go! We will capture their natural curiosity and play so bring a favorite toy or two!

Twelve Months | The Cake Smash!

This is it! The final milestone of your baby’s first year milestones! What better way to commemorate this amazing journey than with a cake smash photo session?! Our one year old cake smash sessions are so much fun and full of personality. Your baby is leaving the “Baby Phase” and entering “Toddlerhood”!  Its a great way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday! One year olds are at an amazing stage as they are more independent and learning so many new things every single day.

When planning your cake smash session we will discuss your birthday theme and customize your session around it. Depending on the theme of the cake smash photo session, I may need more time to order a backdrop online, so it’s best to reach out to me two months in advance. Due to allergies we do not currently provide cakes for cake smash, however we do have several local bakeries we recommend!
